SRC Precision Products is in Union, New Jersey. It's a fairly small family-owned company, so we all do our part to contribute to it's success. Back in 1996 SRC designed the new Xtreme shackles you see on our site. The X in the design strengthens them and makes them tough enough for the most Xtreme off-road experiences. (Trust us on that - we test them regularly!)
The Xtreme Steering Rods (tie-rod drag link setup) have improved our steering stabilization and have proven well worth the investment for our lifted Jeeps. We designed them after we saw enough broken and bent rods on the trail. The inverted steering system above the knuckle helps to clear those big rocks. They are so easy to install too, unlike our competitors' products, our rod ends do not require any drilling!
Since we live in the Northeast our favorite places to wheel are in Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey. We run with some great clubs and look forward to the challenges of changes in the terrain as time and weather changes the trails we run most often.
